Privacy & Cookies

How Bucharest Sculpture Days handles your data. Short version: we count visits with Umami, which sets no cookies, and with Google Analytics only if you accept cookies. No ads, no cross-site tracking, no selling data.

Who we are

This site is operated by the organisers of Bucharest Sculpture Days (Zilele Sculpturii București), a contemporary sculpture event based in Bucharest, Romania. Contact us at office@filialadesculptura.com for any privacy question.

What we collect

Umami Analytics, on every visit. Page views, the referring site, campaign parameters in the link (for example, which QR code you scanned), device and browser type, country, and clicks on links and downloads. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It uses your IP address and browser details to compute a visitor identifier that changes every day. The IP address itself is not stored. Umami Cloud (Umami Software, Inc.) processes this data on our behalf.

Google Analytics 4, only when you accept cookies. Anonymised IP address, page views, device and browser type, approximate location (city level), and the same interactions listed above.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information through this site.

Cookies we use

  • zsb_consent — first-party, essential. Stores your consent choice (granted or denied). Six-month expiry. Always set.
  • _ga, _ga_* — third-party (Google Analytics 4). Distinguishes visitors and sessions. Set only after you click Accept. Typical expiry: up to two years.

If you click Reject, Google Analytics does not load and no analytics cookies are set. Umami still counts the visit, without cookies.

Legal basis

We process Google Analytics data on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Law 506/2004 Art. 4), which you can withdraw at any time using the button below.

We process Umami data on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring, in aggregate, how the site and our events are used (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Reports we share with partners contain totals only, never data about individual visitors. You can object to this processing by emailing us.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP, the Romanian data protection authority. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
